Relief Veterinarians Can Now Use AI to Negotiate Rates on Serenity Vet
The new feature equips relief veterinarians with data-backed insights to negotiate rates based on local market conditions, shift details, and booking likelihood
Serenity Vet, a subscription-based relief management platform, has released a new AI-powered feature designed to help veterinarians set and negotiate their pay with confidence. With this new tool, veterinarians now see a dynamic Predictability Score and Average Cost for similar shifts in their area – right when they apply for a job or negotiate their rate.
This gives them a real-time snapshot of their likelihood of being booked at different pay levels, based on the specific shift details, such as timing, location, duration, and types of procedures. As they adjust their desired rate, the predictability score updates instantly, helping them to set competitive rates while maximizing their chances of getting hired.

This new veterinarian-facing feature builds on Serenity Vet’s earlier release for clinics, which introduced an AI Predictability Score to help practices optimize shift listings. That version guides clinics on how adjustments to pay, hours, and job requirements can improve their fill rates and attract top talent.

- A subscription for managing existing relief veterinarians – Clinics can now bring their own trusted relief veterinarians onto Serenity Vet, centralizing scheduling, payments, and communication in one place, without paying any per-shift fees.
- Personalized shift invitations – Clinics using Serenity Vet’s subscription can send exclusive requests to their own network of relief veterinarians before posting shifts more broadly, giving their internal network the first opportunity to claim open shifts.
- No contracts or placement fees – Clinics and veterinarians engage freely, with no restrictive commitments.
Future roadmap includes ACT (Average Client Transaction), allowing clinics to view historic data on ACT per relief veterinarian, as well as advanced enterprise features.
