Serenity Vet Launches AI Predictability Score to Help Clinics Improve Relief Fill Rates Through Data-Driven Compensation
New tool forecasts the likelihood of filling a shift using historical data on local pay rates, available veterinarians and shifts in the region, competitor comparisons, and other factors, helping clinics improve hiring success
Serenity Vet, a veterinary relief management platform with integrated financial planning tools for veterinarians and clinics, introduced a new AI-powered Predictability Score. The feature forecasts the likelihood of filling a shift by analyzing the offered pay rate alongside important shift details such as timing, location, and complexity. The score updates in real time as these factors are adjusted, providing clinics with immediate guidance to improve booking success.
Drawing on historical market data and current activity, the AI Predictability Score evaluates:
- Compensation relative to local market rates
- Geographic location and travel requirements
- Timing and duration of the shift
- Complexity and type of work involved
- Competition for available professionals in the area
“By showing the impact of changes to pay, hours, or requirements before a posting goes live, the AI Predictability Score helps clinics set competitive, sustainable terms and increase the likelihood of securing qualified relief veterinarians,” said Dr. Andrew Ciccolini, Co-Founder of Serenity Vet. “Serenity Vet gives clinics the clarity they need to post shifts strategically, balancing fairness, competitiveness, and efficiency for both sides.”
Serenity Vet recently introduced other updates to make relief staffing a smooth, efficient, and win-win experience for both clinics and veterinarians:
- Average Cost in Area – Displays prevailing relief pay rates in a clinic’s geographic area, providing clear market context to support competitive and sustainable rate-setting.
- Overtime Tracking – Allows veterinarians to log extra hours worked, while giving clinics a streamlined, centralized process to approve or dispute requests. Payments are triggered automatically upon approval.
- ACH Payments – Enables faster, more reliable payments for completed shifts, improving cash flow and reducing administrative delays for both clinics and veterinarians.
- Production Bonuses – Gives clinics the option to set an additional production percentage for busy or high-demand shifts, such as ER or urgent care, rewarding veterinarians for their performance. Veterinarians can choose to be paid either their base per-shift rate or the production percentage, whichever is greater.
With these enhancements, Serenity Vet continues its mission to make relief staffing transparent, predictable, and fair – benefiting both clinics and the professionals who support them.
