Relief Veterinarians Can Now Centralize All Existing Clinic Relationships and Manage Scheduling, Shifts, and Invoicing on Serenity Vet

The new release allows relief veterinarians to invite clinics they regularly work with to join their network on Serenity Vet and manage those relationships within a single system.

Serenity Vet, an operating system for veterinary relief staffing, has expanded its network-building feature to relief veterinarians. Previously available to clinics, this feature allows veterinarians to invite practices they already work with and coordinate scheduling in one place, with invoicing and payments handled automatically. Shifts within an existing network are not charged typical marketplace fees. This shift moves relief staffing away from one-off, transactional engagements toward a more structured, relationship-driven model that improves profitability for both parties.

Most relief veterinarians already have practices they enjoy working with, but coordinating shifts often still means juggling messages, keeping track of multiple invoices, and, if they are hired through a marketplace, knowing the clinic is paying an extra fee on top of your rate,” said Dr. Andrew Ciccolini, co-founder at Serenity Vet. “Serenity Vet provides a central system to manage these relationships, creating room for better rates by removing middleman commissions, and simplifying admin work for both sides. We’ve also seen in our burnout survey that veterinarians who work repeatedly with the same clinics tend to feel more financially stable and report lower levels of burnout – so nurturing these relationships isn’t just good for business, it’s good for well-being too.

The launch of this feature builds on a recent release that allows clinics to invite relief veterinarians to their networks on Serenity Vet, track their real-time availability, and manage scheduling and payments within the platform – without service fees when hiring from their existing network.

In addition to centralizing work with existing clinics, Serenity Vet offers tools to support the business side of relief work – including income planning features to help forecast earnings, insights into local market rates, built-in negotiation tools, and opportunities to connect with new clinics. The platform operates without contracts or placement fees, giving veterinarians more flexibility and independence in how they structure their work. For clinics, Serenity Vet provides a single operating system to manage all relief staffing workflows through one subscription. Together, these capabilities create a more connected and efficient ecosystem, enabling clinics and veterinarians to build long-term relationships and run a more predictable, sustainable, and mutually beneficial business.
